Elizabeth A. Isenhower, 88, of Jacobstown NJ, formerly of Lambertville NJ, passed away June 21st 2012 with her loving family at her side.
Elizabeth was born Jan. 3, 1924 to Anthony DeVitt and Elizabeth DeVitt (Provenzano). She lived in Lambertville for 82 years before moving to live with family in Jacobstown, NJ. She was married to Connelly “Ike” Isenhower for 34 years. She worked for General Motors Co. for 30 years before retiring to spend time with her family and working the slots in Atlantic City.
She is preceded by her husband, Ike and her siblings Lillian Welsh, Rose Cochran, Susan O’Brien, Dominic Devitt, Nicholas DeVitt and Anthony DeVitt. She is survived by her niece Linda Deakins of Jacobstown, NJ, her great granddaughter Jada Eley of Traverse City, MI., and her great great grandson Colton Eley. Nieces and nephews Graceann Pennett from New Hope, PA., Patrick Welsh of Summit, NJ, Dominic Devitt of Flemington, NJ, Dorothy Brown of Lambertville, NJ Rosemary Speight of Alva, FA., Frank Cochran of Lambertville, NJ. She is also survived by many great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held 10:00 AM, July 10th, at St. John the Evangelist Church in Lambertville NJ.
